**Job Summary**

Tecnimont is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handling Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing material handling systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop material handling systems, including conceptual layouts, engineering designs, and calculations.
  • Specify equipment and consult with vendors to ensure project needs and deliverables are met.
  • Understand the basics of mechanical systems and processes for various types of handling systems, including pneumatic applications.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop system layouts and determine operational requirements.
  • Perform calculations to validate system throughput and workability.
  • Select material handling packages that meet technological, technical, contractual, and economic requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in construction, testing, assembly, and startup phases of projects.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to team leaders and other disciplines as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of project specifications and reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned project deliverables.
  • Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D software and MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Effective team player.
