Position Overview

As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will report directly to the Chief Compliance and Data Protection Officer. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the company's adherence to relevant regulations, address compliance challenges, and stay informed about regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough analysis and monitoring of both national and international regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with all obligations.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to various departments on the implementation of applicable regulations.
  • Advising the Compliance Business on regulatory matters.
  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of regulations concerning banking transparency, consumer protection laws, PSD2, and related areas.
  • Developing and executing organizational policies, standards, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing periodic compliance reports for supervisory authorities and internal management committees.
  • Investigating and documenting compliance issues, providing resolutions for any concerns that arise.
  • Administering research findings and offering recommendations at the management level.
  • Facilitating training and educational programs for employees to promote a culture of compliance.
  • Participating in various regulatory compliance initiatives.

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who are forward-thinking and capable of driving meaningful change. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A Master's degree in legal studies.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory policies applicable to payment institutions.
  • Previous experience in compliance and risk management within consulting firms, banking institutions, or similar organizations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A demonstrated commitment to diligence and perseverance.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English, with strong speaking and writing skills.
