The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in Italy. Reporting to the Chief Compliance and Data Protection Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our business practices comply with relevant regulations, resolving compliance issues, and staying up-to-date with regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze national and international regulatory environments to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Provide guidance and advice to impacted structures on implementing regulations applicable to the company.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Business to ensure effective implementation of regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulations related to banking transparency, consumer protection, and PSD2.
  • Create and implement organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reporting to supervisory authorities and management committees.
  • Investigate, document, and resolve regulatory compliance concerns.
  • Administer research results and provide recommendations to management.
  • Design and deliver training programs to employees to promote overall compliance.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance projects.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in legal studies.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory policies applicable to payment institutions.
  • Prior experience in compliance and risk management within consulting firms, banking institutions, or similar organizations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Demonstrated diligence and perseverance.
  • Result-oriented with a proactive attitude and initiative.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English, with fluency in speaking and writing.
