As part of the esteemed Luxury Group of Marriott International, we are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the position of Receiving Clerk. This role is integral to our pre-opening team, composed of professionals committed to delivering modern and authentic hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage deliveries, ensuring accurate handling of incoming freight in accordance with invoices and receiving documentation.
  • Maintain an organized storage system for merchandise, ensuring items are appropriately marked and delivered to the correct departments.
  • Ensure precision in the internal inventory management system, verifying and tracking received goods while preparing comprehensive inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports, ensuring accuracy in counts.
  • Safeguard the receiving area and its contents, managing the secure handling of packages and mail.
  • Adhere to local regulations regarding hazardous materials during shipping processes.
  • Communicate effectively with guests regarding their received packages, ensuring a seamless experience.

What We Seek

  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for logistics and operational procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian, with prior experience in a similar role considered advantageous.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, ideally with knowledge of Birchstreet.
