Product Manager for Refrigeration Sales and Marketing

We're seeking a Group Application Manager for Food Retail to lead the growth of assigned applications with a global perspective. This role will report to the Group Marketing Manager and be based in Brugine, Italy, with a mix of office and smart working.

The Marketing Unit Food Retail is a team dedicated to defining, launching, and promoting solutions to meet the needs of customers within different Food Retail applications. These solutions are a set of components to build and control the refrigeration part of showcases, cabinets, condensing units, and compressor racks.

Within the assigned application, you will:

  • Master a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, technological market trends, and regulations framework.
  • Develop the current marketing segmentation.
  • Evaluate new potential market niches close to the assigned applications.
  • Develop a successful product and solution offer according to market segment value proposition.
  • Listen to customer voice and analyze customer feedback to improve the product offer.
  • Evaluate new products/solutions development through Business Plans preparation, exploring customer requirements, value proposition, price positioning, launch activities, and promotion.
  • Drive internal and external effective communication.
  • Collaborate with the Image & Communication department to define communication plans, launch promotions, commercial materials, marketing campaigns, events, and exhibitions.
  • Evaluate and execute promotional initiatives with the sales organization.
  • Present the products portfolio to the sales organization, with dedicated events, training, or supporting customer visits.
  • Collaborate with other departments like product platforms, R&D, services, and manufacturing to ensure successful product deployment.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in REF equipment, electronics, and/or thermodynamics (a plus).
  • Experience in B2B markets with international exposure (a plus).
  • Strong written and oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs.
  • Ability to organize work by priority, define plans, and monitor.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Availability to travel internationally (up to 20% of the time).
