The Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing the infrastructure of technological systems involved in transformation initiatives utilizing cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving and accelerating the company's cloud transformation projects;
  • Contributing to the Cloud team's standards and implementing process improvements;
  • Creating and testing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform while ensuring project deadlines are met;
  • Collaborating with various project teams, including Applications, Testing, and Security, to define and deliver cloud capabilities for specific initiatives;
  • Fostering a team culture that promotes transparency, knowledge sharing, and support;
  • Assisting in troubleshooting daily challenges within the team and providing support to other teams as needed;
  • Supporting suppliers during deployment and testing while ensuring adherence to security best practices;
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation regarding Terraform modules, projects, and customer onboarding;
  • Developing and sustaining secure, high-availability, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Your Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in Cloud Services, preferably with Azure and AWS;
  • Certification in Azure (AZ-104 and AZ-400);
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner & Solution Architect Associate certification;
  • Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS;
  • Proficiency in IaC (Terraform) for creating and managing cloud infrastructure;
  • Familiarity with Git for code management and repository structure;
  • Experience in developing cloud-native CI/CD pipelines, preferably with containerized microservices using Docker and ECS;
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools, preferably Ansible;
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or scripting languages (Groovy/Shell);
  • Background in DevOps and Agile methodologies;
  • Experience in cloud migration projects is advantageous;
  • Prior experience in a PCI-DSS compliant environment or similar regulated industry is beneficial;
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, particularly CloudWatch and Opensearch;
  • Fluency in English is required.
