Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to join our team in Parma, Italy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the performance and optimization of our accounting & tax activities in compliance with international and local standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Local accounting activities, including financial reporting and analysis
  • Group accounting compliance, ensuring adherence to international and local standards
  • Tax reports and compliance, including statutory and tax requirements
  • Accounts payable and receivable, treasury and bank activities
  • Statutory books and group reporting
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliation and backup documentation
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, identifying areas for improvement
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with legal and group accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Set up and monitor accounting KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Regularly produce financial reports or statements, presenting to stakeholders
  • Perform and oversee annual audits, internal and external
  • Meet financial accounting objectives, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Be responsible for statutory and tax requirements and reports, in agreement with group policy and tax and accounting regulation
  • Work with central teams to develop synergies and ensure proper workflow
  • Participate in process simplification, develop automation, and rationalize
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient collaboration with the FP&A and Controlling teams for overall finance performance
  • Be a change driver of Company/Finance transformation, participating and leading initiatives linked to the company strategy, including quality improvement
  • Participate in ERP enhancement and maintenance with IT, developing automation (RPA, etc.) and modern practices
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing, skilled, and motivated team
  • Encourage other employees to adhere to standards and quality

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in finance or audit or similar
  • 10 years of finance management experience in an international environment
  • 5 years of experience in audit, minimum
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on people development
  • Team player, with experience in a matrix environment
  • Good communication skills, with fluency in English and Italian
  • Change management experience, with a focus on process improvement
  • IFRS knowledge, with experience in BOFC/HFM and SAP
  • Digital acumen, with experience in automation AP/AR
  • Continuous Improvement mindset, with experience in process improvement methodology
