Your Opportunity

We are looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager who possesses a Master's degree in finance or audit, with over 10 years of experience in financial management and at least 5 years in auditing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and fluency in English. This role offers a home office opportunity while being based in Octeville. As part of Sidel, you will contribute to our mission of making a positive impact globally. The Accounting & Tax Manager will oversee the performance and enhancement of accounting and tax functions at the site, ensuring compliance with both international and local accounting and tax regulations, as well as adherence to Group internal policies and governance standards.

Your Mission

  • Manage local accounting operations
  • Ensure compliance with Group accounting standards
  • Prepare tax documentation and reports
  • Oversee accounts payable processes
  • Handle treasury and banking activities
  • Maintain statutory records
  • Facilitate Group financial reporting
  • Ensure accuracy in balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation
  • Analyze and monitor accounting data
  • Uphold compliance with legal and Group accounting practices
  • Establish and track accounting KPIs
  • Generate regular financial reports
  • Conduct and supervise annual audits
  • Achieve financial accounting goals
  • Present KPIs to stakeholders and provide insights
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and tax obligations
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit partners
  • Work with central teams to enhance workflows
  • Participate in process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Foster collaboration with FP&A and Controlling teams for overall financial performance
  • Drive change in Company/Finance transformation and lead related initiatives
  • Engage in ERP system enhancements and automation projects
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing finance team
  • Promote adherence to quality standards among employees
  • Lead transformational projects within the Company/Finance framework

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in finance, audit, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance management within an international context
  • At least 5 years of auditing experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Focus on team development
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Experience in a matrix organizational structure is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Background in change management
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Familiarity with BOFC/HFM is a plus
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Competence in Microsoft 365
  • Experience in digital transformation and automation in AP/AR is a plus
  • Hands-on approach
  • Continuous improvement mindset with knowledge of process improvement methodologies is beneficial
  • Fluency in English and Italian
