Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Tax Operations Manager with a Master's degree in finance or audit, possessing over 10 years of financial management experience and at least 5 years in auditing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and fluency in English. This role is based in Octeville with the possibility of remote work. The Finance and Tax Operations Manager will oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and tax functions, ensuring adherence to both international and local accounting standards, as well as compliance with Group policies and governance protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage local accounting functions
  • Ensure compliance with Group accounting standards
  • Prepare tax documentation and reports
  • Oversee accounts payable processes
  • Manage treasury operations and banking relationships
  • Maintain statutory records
  • Conduct Group financial reporting
  • Ensure accuracy in balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation
  • Analyze and monitor financial data
  • Uphold compliance with legal and Group accounting principles
  • Establish and track accounting performance indicators
  • Generate regular financial statements and reports
  • Supervise annual internal and external audits
  • Achieve financial accounting goals
  • Present key performance indicators to stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax obligations in line with Group policies
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external audit partners
  • Collaborate with central teams to enhance operational synergies
  • Participate in process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Foster effective collaboration with FP&A and Controlling teams to enhance overall financial performance
  • Lead initiatives aligned with Company/Finance transformation and quality improvement
  • Engage in ERP system enhancements and automation projects
  • Cultivate a high-performing, skilled, and motivated team
  • Promote adherence to quality standards among employees
  • Drive change initiatives within Company/Finance transformation projects

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in finance, audit, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management within an international context
  • At least 5 years of auditing experience
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Focus on team development
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Experience in a matrix organizational structure is advantageous
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Background in change management
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Familiarity with BOFC/HFM is a plus
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Competence in Microsoft 365
  • Experience in digital transformation and automation in AP/AR is beneficial
  • Hands-on approach
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process enhancement methodologies is a plus
  • Fluency in English and Italian
