About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation of our tools at customer sites and completing all activities required to ensure accurate tool function.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold pre-installation meetings with customers to scope unique requirements and create a plan of action to measure and satisfy customer needs.
- Install tools at customer sites to meet KLA specifications, including system testing and validation.
- Solve complex system issues in a timely manner using abstract thought, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Manage critical issues across customers and regions.
- Facilitate verification of tool performance with customers and ensure proper functioning.
- Manage customer satisfaction through regular meetings and updates.
- Perform install/customer-focused application testing to approve operational quality.
- Provide new product installation training to worldwide customer support engineering.
Requirements
- Technical degree or diploma in engineering, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of semiconductor industry work experience is a bonus.
- Panel of competencies in optical, mechanic, electronic, lithography, metrology, and laser technology is desirable.
- Good technical and analytical skills, ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronic, optic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electro-optical systems.
- Knowledge of computer theory and operating systems, such as MS Windows.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Available to travel internationally.
