We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety and environmental regulations, as well as developing and maintaining HSE management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, administer, interpret, and enforce safety and environmental requirements, including plant, corporate, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Establish safety and environmental standards based on risk and hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements and HSE management systems (ISO 14001, OSHA VPP, ISO 45001).
- Review HSE incidents to identify root causes and establish corrective and preventative actions.
- Provide technical assistance to various plant staff functions.
- Coordinate plant safety teams and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain HSE-related policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Lead safety audits and incident investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Conduct hazard assessments and develop control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Interact with regulatory agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as environmental science, occupational safety, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a safety or environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- 1+ years of HSE experience in a warehouse, production, or industrial environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document, report, and present findings.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office Suite applications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- B.S. in Engineering, Health Sciences, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or other related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, etc.).
- Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001, OSHA VPP, ISO 45001).
