Project Procurement Manager

The Project Procurement Coordinator is the key figure in the project procurement team, responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of project supplies.

He/She coordinates the overall project procurement activities in compliance with contractual requirements, following the instructions of the Project Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement the Project Execution Plan, ensuring its application throughout the project lifecycle.
  • To collaborate with the Project Vendor List preparation, considering project requirements.
  • To coordinate the assigned resources to achieve the project's manhours budget.
  • To oversee the procurement activities, from material requisition to delivery, ensuring vendor assistance during construction and commissioning.
  • To monitor compliance with project schedule and budget allocation.
  • To ensure project procurement coordination among operational centers, including other companies, subcontractors, partners, and site personnel.
  • To coordinate project procurement reporting towards PMT and the Client.
  • To support the Purchasing Department in applying liquidated damages to vendors.
  • To manage back-charges to vendors in coordination with Purchasing and Administration departments.
  • To manage expiring technical/performance warranties in coordination with Administration.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role in Engineering & Construction Companies, from the Oil & Gas industry.
  • High flexibility and availability for medium and long assignments abroad.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
