The Project Procurement Coordinator is the key figure in the project procurement team, responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of project supplies.

He/She coordinates the overall project procurement activities, following the instructions of the Project Procurement Manager, to ensure compliance with contractual requirements in terms of costs, time, and quality of the supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan, ensuring its application throughout the project life cycle.
  • To cooperate in the preparation of the Project Vendor List, considering project requirements.
  • To coordinate the assigned resources to develop activities within the allocated manhours budget.
  • To coordinate procurement activities from material requisition to delivery at site, ensuring vendor assistance during construction and commissioning activities.
  • To control compliance of procurement activities with project schedule and budget allocation.
  • To ensure overall project procurement coordination among operational centers involved in procurement activities.
  • To coordinate project procurement reporting towards PMT and the Client.
  • To support Purchasing Dept in the application of liquidated damages to Vendors.
  • To manage the application of back-charges to Vendors in coordination with Purchasing and Administration department.
  • To manage, in coordination with Administration department, the expiring of technical/performance warranties.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role gained in Engineering & Construction Companies, from Oil & Gas industry.
  • High flexibility and availability for medium and long assignments abroad.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
