Job Summary:

Stefanini EMEA is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Administrator to join our team in Turin, Italy. As a key member of our ICT Infrastructure Tower, you will work closely with our customer's team to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Alerting:
    • Continuously monitor infrastructure components to identify potential issues.
    • Implement alerting mechanisms to notify relevant personnel or teams in case of detected issues.
    • Develop processes for handling incidents, including logging, categorization, prioritization, investigation, and resolution.
    • Establish SLAs based on impact and urgency, with defined escalation processes to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Change Management:
    • Implement changes to the infrastructure in a controlled and systematic manner to minimize disruption and risk.
    • Develop defined change approval processes, documentation requirements, and rollback procedures.
  • Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning:
    • Monitor resource utilization trends and forecast future capacity requirements.
    • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve systems performance and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), incidents, changes, and other relevant metrics.
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and services providers to ensure timely delivery of services and support.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and support in negotiating contracts to optimize service levels and costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience within the Network Operations area, including LAN-WAN, Cabling, PBX, Firewalls & VPN, NAC, Wireline, and SASE.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Datadog for real-time infrastructure monitoring.
  • Understanding of technical network requirements and procedures to translate them in front of vendors.
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation for processes, incident reports, and system changes.
  • Experience in evaluating third-party vendors, assessing their service delivery, and negotiating contracts.
