We are seeking a Senior Proposal Manager for Medium Voltage Solutions with substantial experience in tenders related to Medium Voltage Switchgears and protective systems. This role is pivotal within the Electrification & Automation sector, based in Milan. You will take charge of crafting optimal technical and commercial proposals, overseeing the entire bidding process for both public and private projects, while ensuring the highest standards of quality in our submissions.

As a Senior Proposal Manager for Medium Voltage Solutions, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing client requirements, single line diagrams, and specifications
  • Configuring MV switchgears utilizing specialized Siemens tools
  • Determining the most effective technical and financial solutions, ensuring precise offer evaluations and cost assessments
  • Managing the entire bidding process independently while maintaining high-quality submissions
  • Meeting client expectations across all technical and commercial aspects
  • Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders (Sales, Procurement, third parties, and internal divisions) regarding technical, contractual, pricing, risk, and safety matters
  • Collaborating with Headquarters, manufacturing sites, regional offices, and Product Managers

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in MV Switchgear offerings and/or the electrical/electrotechnical sector
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on achieving targets
  • Proficiency in electrical systems and comprehension of electrical diagrams and tender documents
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and innovative problem-solving
  • Familiarity with SCADA and LV switchgears is advantageous
  • Experience with AutoCAD and design software is preferred
  • A background in electrical or electrotechnical education
  • Proficient command of professional English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent command of the Italian language
  • Willingness to travel for business on a national and occasionally international level
  • A passion for continuous personal and professional development

  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
