Join Our Team as a Field Service Engineer in Italy

Cytiva is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the life sciences industry, and we're seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, qualifying, and maintaining our cutting-edge equipment at customer sites. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities to drive business growth.

This is a remote position, and you will be working independently to manage your own stock and work orders. You will also have the opportunity to participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be proficient in English and have a strong understanding of the biopharma industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, qualify, and maintain equipment at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Manage own stock and work orders
  • Participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Technical skills: Strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience troubleshooting
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to travel: 70% travel and overnight stay within territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Biopharma or biotechnology industry experience
  • Computers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks, and database experience
