Job Description

ATM is seeking a Product Project Manager to join its Product Project Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and managing acquisition contracts for rolling stock and onboard equipment, as well as supporting pre-contractual phases to define the contract, including budget, timeline, regulatory compliance, and interface with network infrastructure and RAMS project objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Defining and managing acquisition contracts for rolling stock and onboard equipment
  • Supporting pre-contractual phases to define the contract, including budget, timeline, regulatory compliance, and interface with network infrastructure and RAMS project objectives
  • Supporting technical analysis of bids during the tender phase
  • Coordinating design reviews with suppliers and internal engineering and testing areas to ensure consistency of solutions with contractual constraints and requirements
  • Monitoring contract progress, identifying corrective measures, and verifying contractual obligations and milestones
  • Monitoring and evaluating recurring technical problems during the warranty phase and managing contentious situations
  • Coordinating activities of internal engineering, maintenance, logistics, and operations areas for the management and takeover of acquired assets
  • Analyzing and managing maintenance feedback, technical problems, and obsolescence of equipment, coordinating support from internal engineering areas throughout the asset lifecycle

Desirable Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Management
  • Proven experience in contract management
  • Good knowledge of project management techniques and planning and control of activities
  • Good knowledge of the relevant regulatory and legislative framework for design and development in the railway sector (desirable knowledge of the Public Procurement Code)
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data, and synthesize
  • Knowledge of software packages for reading and modifying project documents and reports, as well as project management software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD, SAP)
  • Technical knowledge of railway equipment

Required Skills:

  • Ability to effectively and proactively interact with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and project effectiveness
  • Ability to negotiate and orient towards objectives

Preferred Titles:

  • Possession of requirements under art. 1 or membership in protected categories under art. 18 of law 68/99

Contract Terms:

The employment contract will be governed by R.D. 148/31.
