About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at Splendido Mare, a luxurious hotel in Portofino, Italy. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for each service, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, health, and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Control and store incoming goods, ensuring they are stored in perfect conditions.
  • Monitor portion and waste control, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Perform all duties assigned by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef, including coordinating and monitoring Demi and Commis de partie.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of cooking styles, equipment, and raw materials processing techniques.
  • At least 3 years of previous professional experience in a luxury environment.
  • Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred.
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
What We Offer
  • Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 5, Demi chef de Partie.
  • Start date: June 2024 to End date: January 2025, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path.
  • Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniority and skill level, separate payslip for 13°, 14°, and TFR.
  • Monthly welfare incentive based on quality goals + welcome bonus.
  • Accommodation in our staff house including breakfast.
  • Bus ticket as benefit for the contract period, staff cantine.
