Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Laboratory Technician to join our team at Marposs. As a key member of our laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Perform coordinate measurements using high-precision instrumentation, evaluating results to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the LAT-accredited Metrology Laboratory Manager to develop and implement measurement protocols.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of measurement equipment, including CMM programming software.
  • Work closely with the work team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school degree in mechanics or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical drawing, including GPS (ISO) and GD&T (ASME Y14.5M).
  • Training in CMM programming software and experience with Leitz machines (Quindos software) are assets.
  • Knowledge of Taylor Hobson roundness and roughness gauges, CREO, and Autocad is desirable.
