Data Center Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases of a Data Center project, as well as supporting Business Development and Proposal Management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support architects, engineers, and other specialty disciplines from initial programming to construction completion.
  • Interface with internal engineering groups, operations, and business units to manage execution and delivery of project requirements.
  • Manage internal and external teams to meet deadlines and budget as per project needs.
  • Analyze Tender documentation, identify winning solutions, review all proposals, and prepare and present comparative cost analysis.
  • Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Travel to meet Clients or Suppliers or manage Site Activities.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of demonstrated ability as a data center (or similar) construction project manager.
  • Master's degree in Engineering (Laurea specialistica) or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Strong background in data center/commercial/industrial construction to include telecom, mechanical, electrical, process piping, plumbing building systems, tenant improvement, site work, and ground-up construction.
  • Knowledge of General Contractor.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • English is mandatory.
