Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Threeriverscasino. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our organization and align with our business objectives.
  2. Instructional Design: Utilize various instructional techniques and formats, including workshops, webinars, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training, to deliver engaging and effective training sessions.
  3. Training Logistics: Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring the availability of trainers, facilities, and resources.
  4. Training Facilitation: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
  5. Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with department directors and team leaders to identify training needs and gaps in team members' skills, ensuring training alignment with organizational objectives.
  7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and results.
  8. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on training activities and outcomes to management.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as a Training Coordinator or similar role.
  3. Skills: Intermediate understanding of computer programs, with proficiency in all Windows applications; strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; organizational and project management abilities.
  4. Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
