Job Summary
As a Warranty Product Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting customers with aftermarket parts identification and warranty claim validation. This role requires a strong understanding of Ingersoll Rand products and industrial machinery, as well as excellent technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate support for compressor products, including parts identification and warranty claim validation.
- Develop and deliver training programs for distributors, both remotely and in-person.
- Maintain accurate records of open issues and ensure timely resolution within established SLAs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Warranty, Technical Support, Engineering, Quality, and Sales.
- Investigate and resolve application and conversion issues, and provide technical assessments on warranty claims.
- Develop and issue detailed reports to support corrective action and ensure consistent processes across global teams.
Requirements
- Four-year technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent trade qualification with relevant technical experience.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems (Oracle or SAP).
- Proactive approach to resolving customer issues, technical aptitude, and ability to clearly articulate solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to influence and interact with diverse stakeholders.
