About the Role:
RWE Renewables Italia S.r.l. is seeking a highly skilled Project Development Manager to join our team in Rome. As a key member of our Business Development Italy team, you will be responsible for driving the development of wind, PV, and BESS projects in Italy from early stage through investment decision and handover to the construction & operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project pipelines, ensuring timely and transparent communication with stakeholders and internal teams.
- Manage the permitting process, including EIA and Single Permit documentation, and relationships with authorities and bodies.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners and local communities to ensure project success.
- Improve project competitiveness by challenging assumptions and reducing costs.
- Coordinate site pre-selection, environmental constraints analysis, wind potential assessment, and other project activities.
Requirements:
- Significant work experience in solar and/or wind development in Italy.
- Degree in engineering, business administration, economics, law, or comparable studies.
- Proven knowledge of the Italian Renewables market and ability to demonstrate commercial awareness.
- Fluent in Italian and English, with other languages a plus.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
