Your Mission

Welcome to your new role at Sungrow - EMEA, where you will play a crucial part in our mission to provide clean power for all. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the superhero our clients need, ensuring their electrical equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Interface between our customers and Sungrow, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Take ownership of dispatched customer issues, resolving them promptly and effectively.
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches, ensuring our clients receive the best possible experience.
  • Run diagnosis on errors or technical problems, using your expertise to identify and resolve issues.
  • Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Perform all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks, including upgrades or rework activities.
  • Support the Project Management during commissioning and site acceptance services, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Track the actions performed on site during delivery of the projects, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Follow operational procedures, processes, and practices as defined, documented, and consistently applied.
  • Follow the applicable health and safety instructions and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for existing and coming service contracts and agreements.
  • Support Europe Service Management by feeding back frequent and analytical service reports with each job, making suggestions for corrective activities.
  • Achieve consistent customer satisfaction ratings and respond appropriately to customer feedback on areas for improvement.
  • Prepare documentations and work instructions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Participate in the claim management and RMA process, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Documentation for QA, customer feedback, and analysis support, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Take over randomly on-call duties, partly on weekends and nights, ensuring our clients receive 24/7 support.
Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on electrical equipment and solar inverters. You should have a good understanding of AC/DC, low/medium voltage, and electrical conduits. Italian and English language skills are essential, with a minimum of B2 level. You will also need to be willing to work on call duty and travel regularly.

  • Education as an Electrical Technician or Engineer is required.
  • Italian and English language skills at least on B2 level.
  • Willing to work on call duty.
  • Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Driving license is extremely important for the job.
  • H&S training to access to construction site with electrical specific training.
