Job Summary
RINA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Corrosion Technician to join its team in the Materials & Technologies Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting electrochemical and corrosion tests on laboratory-scale samples or parts of components in their actual sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform compliance tests to European and international standards based on the component under test, defining the test layout and test procedure.
- Perform special tests in accordance with specifications defined by the Client and/or Manufacturer.
- Generate test reports in English.
- Implement new methodologies and procedures following the needs of Clients or as emerging from the literature and scientific references.
- Collaborate with other team members in carrying out work and solving any problems.
- Execute post-test analysis in accordance with regulations or customer requests.
- Process post-test data.
- A valuable requirement is the use of CAD.
- Availability for long-term business trips.
- Physical fitness for laboratory work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Strong knowledge of corrosion testing and analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
