Senior Simulator Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Simulator Technician to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our training center operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our flight simulator training devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all technical and operational aspects of the flight simulator training devices.
- Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness checks, and act as the technical lead during flyouts.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex training device issues and AOGs.
- Suggest and perform hardware design, refurbishment, and modifications as required.
- Provide on-the-job technical training to other technicians.
- Assume the role of technical expert for multiple simulator systems.
- Support the Technical Operations Leader in the assignment of daily tasks and special projects.
Requirements
- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation Field.
- At least 6 to 8 years of related work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Advanced working knowledge of computer mainframe/architecture, networking, operating systems, and programming languages.
- In-depth technical background and familiarity with FSTD technical issues.
