We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead our Generative AI Solutions team at AWS EMEA SARL (Italy Branch) - G99. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and shaping the future of generative AI solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to understand their business problems and guide them in implementing generative AI solutions.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of scientists, architects, and engineers to create and present value-driven architectures for generative AI solutions.
- Grow the team by hiring, onboarding, training, and developing new talent from internal and external sources.
- Identify opportunities for building reusable technical assets based on recurring patterns of customer needs.
- Provide customer and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams to inform product direction.
- Drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.
- Be a thought leader and drive value creation for our customers by shaping technical solutions, growing the team, and leading specific customer engagements.
- Deliver briefing and deep dive sessions to customers and guide them on adoption patterns and paths to production.
About the Team
Our GenAIIC team provides opportunities to innovate in a fast-paced organization that contributes to game-changing projects and technologies. As a Senior Technical Manager, you'll partner with technology and business teams to build new generative AI solutions that delight our customers.
Requirements
- Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
- Experience building complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision, that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Deep expertise in generative AI and hands-on experience of deploying and hosting Large Foundational Models.
- Experience and deep knowledge of AWS and AWS AI/ML services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Project management experience working on cross-functional projects.
