Role Summary: The IT Functional Analyst will serve a pivotal function, collecting requirements and acting as the intermediary between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating informed strategic decisions within our banking services division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong history of converting complex data into actionable insights, significantly contributing to the effectiveness of banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and document business requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and business strategies.
- Analyze and interpret data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights pertinent to banking services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and systems.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to guide business strategies.
- Translate requirements into clear language for internal stakeholders.
- Document requirements from various stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to create flowcharts and diagrams.
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle SQL database.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as an IT Functional Analyst within the banking sector.
- Ability to analyze financial data, anticipate potential challenges, and propose effective solutions.
- Understanding of financial decision-making processes and their implications on systems.
- Proficiency in understanding and integrating various systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.
- Skill in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements from diverse stakeholders to ensure that integrated systems meet business needs and objectives.
- Excellent documentation skills to prepare and deliver necessary project documents.
- Proficiency in creating and managing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to capture and prioritize requirements.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders in an international context and present information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL.
- Preferred: proven experience in MiFID regulatory.
- Flexibility for on-site collaboration.
- 3-6 years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst.
