Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in research and innovation initiatives.
- Gather requirements and translate customer needs into precise engineering specifications.
- Decompose system requirements and assist in aligning sub-system/component specifications with respective product lines.
- Collaborate with product line engineers to guide efforts towards achieving engineering goals and participate in design reviews.
- Champion the advancement of technology readiness levels for product development, steering projects towards field trials and deployment.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in requirements management tools such as DOORS and Polarian.
- Familiarity with system engineering methodologies including FMEA, trade-off analysis, and solution trees.
- Understanding of mobility technologies, including perception, remote driving, and automated driving.
- Knowledge of train signaling systems like ETCS, CBTC, and TCMS.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Instrumentation, with a focus on Railway, Automotive, or Aerospace domains is essential. Experience in working directly with customers or end-users to effectively translate their needs into engineering requirements is also required.
