The Role:

Responsible for maintaining existing client relationships/portfolios with accountability for client retention as well as new business development. The Account Executive will manage and develop client and WTW relationships, and service and grow the portfolio within the business unit. The role will also be responsible for targeting and converting prospects. The principle accountability of the position is to put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day client service, addressing requests and queries from the client, insurers, and other third parties, communicating by voice as well as email (including advice on cover, contract reviews, placement of cover under the client's global programs, negotiation and arrangement of local policies as required, issuance of evidence(s) of insurance and ongoing servicing following placement)
  • Understanding the client's business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing service
  • Understanding the client's global insurance program and utilizing them in accordance with the client's insurance and risk management philosophy
  • Maintenance of information on the client database
  • Preparation of market presentations/underwriting submissions as required
  • Interpretation and review of quotations, to ensure fit for purpose and meet client demands/needs
  • Negotiation of terms and cover alterations with insurers and presentation to the client
  • Completion of reports as required
  • Completion of summaries of insurance for all interested parties (client/network)
  • Attendance at key client and market meetings
  • Working with clients, insurers to address and resolve issues
  • Liaison with other divisions/offices of WTW to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where needed
