Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Deerns Groep BV is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Milan and Rome. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects, including airports, hospitals, data centers, and life science facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients and participate in technical coordination meetings.
  • Ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery, managing project phases and documentation.
  • Work with the technical team to develop innovative solutions and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Support the Project Manager in bid preparation and contract management.
  • Supervise and support junior design engineers.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience as an Intermediate Engineer in similar contexts.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical design software and sector-specific regulations.
  • Proficiency in BIM methodology.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Motivation to stay updated on technological innovations and sector regulations.
