About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing our inventory performance, product portfolio, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory to optimize inventory performance in collaboration with production engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and procurement.
  • Optimize product portfolio to minimize Net Working Capital (NWC) and product/process costs with a focus on EBITA.
  • Facilitate phase-in/phase-out products in Operations (PF, Production Engineering, Manufacturing).
  • Collaborate with Buyers to facilitate make/buy analysis and decision-making.
  • Create, release, and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for assigned products and related part numbers.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and implement corrective actions based on root cause analysis performed.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial/Management Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar) is considered a plus.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Creativity, sense of innovation, and digital ownership.
  • Problem-solving attitude, result-oriented, and agile approach.
  • Teamwork attitude, good communication skills, and courage.
