About the Role

Circuit Breaker Field Service Technician plays a crucial part in our Electrification Service division, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of low and medium voltage apparatus.

Key Responsibilities

As a Circuit Breaker Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage apparatus at customer sites, adhering to contract requirements and ABB health and safety guidelines.
  • Conducting detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and recommending changes to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service, ensuring coordination with the customer for documentation, safety, and planning.
  • Supervising service activities performed by external resources.
  • Preparing technical and work reports to be signed by the customer representative.
  • Referring to management for clarification during service activities and notifying the quality team of quality issues discovered.
  • Following an on-site intervention schedule estimated at 200 days per year, with 80% in Italy and 20% abroad.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the same field.
  • Qualifications in reading schematic, electrical, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • A technical diploma or degree in a mechanical or electronic field.
