Key Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Business Insights Manager at Novartis Farmacéutica, you will play a crucial role in generating valuable business insights that drive effective decision-making. Your main responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide a 360° perspective on the performance and potential of each product.

About the Role:

You will act as a business partner to the Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and IBEEM teams, working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and finance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the strategy definition of therapeutic areas and IBEEM team by providing insights and partnering with stakeholders.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from different internal and external data sources.
  • Generating actionable insights to inform and co-create business strategy and decision-making for the TAs.
  • Being the SPOC for the Integrated Business Insight team in TAs.
  • Exploring and scouting opportunities to leverage existing data with a centralized approach.
  • Collaborating with IBEEM teams to ensure data generation will be beneficial for our value proposition, especially for the development of personalized customer journeys.
  • Partnering with Finance / Region Europe / Global Teams to ensure consistency of insights at the country level with the above country view.
  • Successfully partnering with internal and external stakeholder groups, including managing external agencies/partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A University Degree in a STEM area (preferably).
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in roles interacting cross-functionally in a matrix environment with proven ability in influencing and negotiating skills, teamwork, business partnering, and management of multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Global and Regional teams.
  • An innovative mindset and desire to learn/acquire new skills to bring significant change in the way we collect and use customer data.
  • Strategic thinking with analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Accountability, responsibility, and willingness to take ownership.
  • Good project/process management skills and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of data analysis trends & evolution, with excellent skills in dealing with Excel and PowerPoint tools.
  • Expertise in business analysis / market research.
  • Knowledge of data architecture, techniques, and data science.
