The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and management of renewable energy projects, focusing on solar and green hydrogen initiatives. This involves collaborating with the project development department to identify and acquire new projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.

  • Develop and implement project development strategies, including site scouting, feasibility studies, and permitting processes.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify new project opportunities and negotiate agreements.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and cash flows, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise engineering consultants and permitting specialists to ensure project design and construction meet regulatory and environmental standards.
  • Liaise with electrical network operators and engineering departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage communications, archives, and data exchange between competence centers and the Italian branch.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and constraints screening activities using GIS analysis.
  • Provide back-office support for filing activities, documentation checklists, and general project development tasks.

  • Proven experience in developing and managing greenfield solar projects in Italy.
  • Strong understanding of the Italian regulatory framework, including environmental and licensing requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Italian electricity system, including distributed generation regulations and utilities interconnection procedures.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
