Packaging Design Specialist for Kinder Joy

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Design Specialist to collaborate on new packaging design for Kinder Joy and support the implementation of sustainability workstreams across all production plants worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials/mechanical engineering and experience with packaging design technical skills, including knowledge of packaging materials and 2D software for design development.

Key responsibilities will include supporting the development of optimized solutions for new and existing projects, focusing on packaging innovation, and ensuring the quality of packaging projects in terms of technical result, product protection, legal compliance, and safety.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of packaging projects from a marketing or operations brief
  • Support the development of optimized solutions for new and existing projects through the choice of innovative and sustainable technologies and materials
  • Focus on packaging innovation: support project briefs with innovative materials and alternative solutions, comparing environmental and cost KPIs
  • Ensure the quality of packaging projects in terms of technical result, product protection, legal compliance, and safety

Requirements:

  • New graduation in materials/mechanical engineering or similar fields
  • Knowledge of packaging design technical skills
  • Knowledge of packaging materials (preference for flexible and rigid plastic)
  • IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office and 2D software for design development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
