Gruppo Montenegro, a dynamic international company with Italian roots, is seeking a skilled Credit Expert to optimize commercial credit granting, reduce credit losses, and protect assets.

Job Overview

As a Finance Business Partner for Sales, the Credit Expert will assess and release blocked orders, participate in provisioning for doubtful debts, and review credit limits. They will collaborate with external accounting services, sales representatives, and customer service departments to ensure efficient order management and financial management of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and release blocked orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Participate in provisioning for doubtful debts to minimize credit losses
  • Review credit limits and assign credit scores to ensure accurate risk assessment
  • Collaborate with external accounting services to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Participate in meetings with clients and sales representatives to discuss credit terms and conditions
  • Ensure effective resolution of commercial credit disputes to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with customer service and logistics departments to ensure seamless order management
  • Support sales department in financial management of clients to drive business growth
  • Assess creditworthiness of potential and existing customers to inform credit decisions

Requirements

Soft Skills

  • Excellent formal writing and public speaking skills to communicate complex financial information
  • Strong negotiation skills with internal and external clients to drive business outcomes
  • Strong collaborative spirit and team-oriented mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Technical Skills

  • Master's degree in business administration or related field to demonstrate expertise in finance and credit management
  • At least 3 years of experience in credit management within the food and beverage sector to demonstrate industry knowledge
  • Previous experience in sales accounting, customer service, or supply chain to demonstrate adaptability and versatility
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Salesforce to leverage technology and drive business outcomes
  • Good understanding of general accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • English B2 to communicate effectively with international clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent Excel and Office Suite skills to analyze complex financial data and create reports
