Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
This role operates on the 2nd Shift from 3:30 PM to Midnight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with the Test Engineer to develop and implement testing solutions, ensuring the qualification of fixtures and programs according to the established system qualification protocols. Engages in diagnosing and repairing electronic hardware components. Accountable for delivering necessary outputs to support production solutions for both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations. Installs and configures new hardware and software systems. Troubleshoots and resolves computer-related issues. Works alongside the Test Support team to monitor and enhance Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies, and Uptime, providing precise reporting and clear improvement targets. In partnership with the Test Engineer, aims to continuously refine the testing process, balancing cost and coverage to achieve an optimized and cost-effective testing procedure. Collaborates closely with manufacturing and test support teams to prioritize support activities, coordinating the schedule for test readiness based on production timelines. May undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Proficient in presenting information and addressing inquiries from various stakeholders, including managers, clients, and the public. Capable of identifying problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Proficient in operating a personal computer, including familiarity with Windows-based operating systems and relevant software. Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Jabil's software applications. Competent in writing simple correspondence and comprehending visual aids. Ability to apply common sense to execute straightforward instructions. Skilled in handling standardized situations with minimal variables. Able to read and understand basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure. Capable of calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting graphs.
