Job Summary

We are seeking a Area Manager Sales for our Pharma division at IMA Group.

About the Role

  • Develop sales strategies to expand the portfolio and/or retain existing clients.
  • Conduct sales and courtesy visits not aimed at selling.
  • Propose technical solutions to clients.
  • Upon client request, and supported by technical colleagues, drive customized solutions that will be articulated in a commercial offer.
  • Prepare the technical-commercial offer, supported by the relevant product managers.
  • Interface with the legal department for contractual aspects.
  • Involved in the client complaint management process.
  • Establish a trust relationship with sales representatives on the territory, who will form the sales team.
  • Maintain the sponsor figure for projects, coordinating with the project team (project manager).
  • Participate in industry events and trade fairs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or technical diploma (mechanical, mechatronic, or pharmaceutical-chemical field).
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the role (also with project/product responsibilities).
  • Experience in a B2B industrial sector with customized products (preferably machinery and industrial plants for the pharmaceutical and food industries).
  • Fluent English.
  • Availability for international short-term business trips.

Desirable

  • Brief experience in sales in the USA.
  • Second language (Spanish).
  • Dynamism and autonomy.
  • Strong customer orientation (internal and external).
  • Decision-making ability.
  • Teamwork and cooperation.
