Position Summary:

The Senior NetSuite Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing the NetSuite platform to align with business objectives, implementing industry best practices, and ensuring the effective utilization of NetSuite across the organization. The ideal candidate will enhance NetSuite functionalities to adapt to the changing needs of the business while equipping users with the necessary training and knowledge to navigate the NetSuite environment and integrated third-party systems effectively. This role acts as a bridge between functional and technical teams to oversee the development of new system features, upgrades, modifications, and daily issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the configuration, development, and continuous improvement of NetSuite and associated third-party applications. Engage throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment. Create customized workflows, records, forms, fields, and client-facing documents. Assist in maintaining and supporting integrations between NetSuite and other applications. Provide support for both new and existing customizations. Deliver ongoing technical support to NetSuite users. Ensure all aspects of NetSuite functionality and data integrity, serving as the primary contact for NetSuite support. Manage account administration, roles, access, profile creation, and security settings. Address end-user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards. Configure application behavior controls. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels. Foster productive relationships internally and externally. Execute all tasks in accordance with established organizational procedures. Implement and uphold departmental policies and standards. Undertake project-based assignments as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with NetSuite One World is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong presentation abilities. Development experience with NetSuite Workflows. Proficient in documenting processes and adhering to formal change control and performance monitoring policies. In-depth understanding of NetSuite functionalities. Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Sound judgment within established procedures to determine appropriate actions. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and establish departmental goals. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a self-motivated approach to success.
