We are currently seeking a Director for Italy Hotels Capital Markets within our EMEA Hotels & Hospitality Capital Markets business line. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting directly to the Senior Managing Director, EMEA Hotels & Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for transactions in Italy.

• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities, suggesting new services and modifications to existing offerings.

• Play a pivotal role in business development, acquiring new clients, and retaining existing ones across all services provided by the Hotels Transactions, Advisory & Asset Management team.

• Collaborate effectively with the EMEA team to facilitate portfolio transactions.

• Ensure optimal team performance through planning, training, development, and networking within the broader JLL network.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, delivering JLL Hotels division services throughout Italy and the regional market while building a robust personal network.

• Actively participate in the EMEA Hotels leadership forum, contributing to cross-divisional initiatives.

• Foster strong relationships within the EMEA Hotels & Hospitality team and the wider JLL organization.

Qualifications:

• Strong academic background with a degree; a professional qualification in hospitality or real estate (e.g., RICS, HCIMA) is advantageous.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, hospitality advisory, or investment, with exposure to both international and operational transactions.

• Proven track record of managing end-to-end transactions and driving processes effectively.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining progress across parallel processes.

• Strong analytical skills complemented by financial modeling expertise.

• In-depth understanding of the investor landscape, including large international operators, private equity funds, and family offices, with a focus on successful engagement.

• Preferred knowledge of the European hospitality market, including investment, valuation, acquisition, development, and asset management processes.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, coupled with a solid technical foundation.

• Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Results-oriented with a commitment to achieving ambitious targets and deadlines; resilient in the face of challenges.

• Willingness to travel throughout Europe is essential; proficiency in additional European languages is desirable.

• Fluency in both Italian and English (spoken and written) is required.
