Job Title: Auditor Supervisor – M/W

Join Société Générale as an Auditor Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring the compliance of our operations and the effective level of risk exposure.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditor Supervisor to join our Italian Internal Audit Department in Milan. As an Auditor Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and executing audit activities, defining audit missions, and overseeing their execution. You will also be responsible for communicating with auditees, business correspondents, and central teams, and for drawing up a multiannual and annual audit plan for the area and companies entrusted.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the management and audit activities of the GBIS Business Lines (Global Banking and Investor Solutions)
  • Define, in collaboration with other managerial profiles, the focus of the audit missions, staffing assignments, and oversee its execution at all its stages and the quality of its outputs
  • Manage communication with auditees in the delegated area, and communicate with business correspondents and/or Central Teams on the proposed audit plan and on the individual audit missions
  • Shall draw up a multiannual and annual audit plan for the area and companies entrusted
  • Participate in the training of auditors, in the development of methodology and internal audit projects, and share information with team members and promote the use of innovative methods and procedures for the performance of audit missions
  • Monitor the quality of the corrective measures processed and approve their closure
  • Provide an assessment of the audited areas to senior management and control bodies of the bank and subsidiaries when needed
Requirements:
  • Higher Education
  • At least 7-8 years of experience in auditing
  • Banking background is mandatory
  • Fluency in Italian and English, French as a plus
  • Very good knowledge of banking and financial market
  • Familiarity with banking laws, regulations, and professional standard integrity
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
