Clinical Support Specialist for Vascular Solutions

Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to promote the vascular product line by delivering hands-on clinical assistance and education to healthcare professionals. The Clinical Support Specialist will serve as the clinical authority within the vascular division.

Key Responsibilities

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the vascular product range and related medical devices.
  • Deliver clinical support to designated customers, including case planning and on-site assistance in operating rooms to ensure successful outcomes with vascular devices.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and execute product launches while identifying new opportunities within accounts.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for clinical staff and team members regarding the use of Cook Medical devices as necessary.
  • Provide insights to the Regional Business Manager and other stakeholders about market trends and product developments.
  • Gather and relay market intelligence and relevant feedback to the division in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate new product concepts and communicate findings to the Sales Manager and account managers, ensuring ongoing dialogue.
  • Ensure that all updated product information is effectively communicated to customers and team members.
  • Participate in local and international conferences, exhibitions, and seminars, sharing pertinent information with the divisional team.
  • Prepare and submit written reports to the Regional Business Manager as needed.

  • Work closely with the Account Specialist to meet or exceed the objectives and targets set by management.

Qualifications

  • Desirable experience in clinical support.
  • Familiarity with relevant clinical procedures is advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clinical data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language proficiency in English and other relevant languages, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and networking skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for business purposes, averaging 3 to 4 overnight trips per week.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
