Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and building monitoring systems. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards, ensuring uninterrupted service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and building monitoring systems.
- Use the Building Management System (BMS) and conduct regular on-site checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage suppliers and services, and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Implement improvement plans and small projects to enhance data center operations.
- Technical education (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following areas: Electricity (generators, UPS, low voltage distribution), climate, and cooling.
- Knowledge of fire protection and physical security (access control, video, and intrusion detection systems) or central building management systems is advantageous.
- Experience in operating data centers or similar environments.
- English and Italian language proficiency (B1 level minimum).
