Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our Power team, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering design work on assigned projects, providing technical support for business development activities, and functioning as the 'Engineer of Record' on projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering design work on assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide technical support for business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Function as the 'Engineer of Record' on projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Perform power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protective coordination, and arc flash analysis.
- Develop and maintain one-line and three-line diagrams, as well as AC/DC schematics.
- Conduct arc-flash hazard calculations to determine arc-flash boundaries and required PPE.
- Supervise and mentor junior electrical engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant Transmission and Distribution engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead engineering tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel occasionally, with a willingness to participate in field walks and create field sketches.
- Experience supervising a team of electrical engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, with at least five (5) years leading electrical engineering projects.
- Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish.
Work Environment
