About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Product Assurance Engineer to join our team at D-Orbit. As a member of our Quality and Product Assurance group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software components across various embedded and high-performance applications, both on the ground and in space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of D-Orbit's Product Assurance organization.
- Ensure that software processes are followed correctly and consistently across the software development lifecycle.
- Define and monitor quality metrics, manage software configuration, and ensure the availability and traceability of software products.
- Contribute to the definition of an effective non-conformance control system and support the documentation, follow-up, and closure of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain and control qualification status lists, PA reviews, audits status reports, lists of deviations and waiver requests, non-conformances, and critical items.

Requirements:

- At least five years of professional experience in the space field, with a strong background in software product assurance.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with and analyze large data sets.
- Experience with automated testing tools, test processes, and test-driven development, as well as knowledge of typical software development methodology and release versioning processes.
- Familiarity with applicable standards on software development and validation, such as ECSS or DO-178, and knowledge of the Git versioning system or similar DVCS.
