Product Assurance Engineer

At D-Orbit, we're looking for a skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our technology developments and related products. You will work closely with our Product Assurance Coordinator to develop, implement, and maintain product assurance and safety engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and implement programmatic and technical documentation, as well as requirements, starting from the applicable product and quality assurance baseline.
- Perform tailoring and statement of compliance on externally provided project requirements.
- Ensure compliance of products with respect to internal and external standards and requirements.
- Work in synergy with project teams to provide PA&S support.
- Monitor and report on subcontractor and supplier quality to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Support the establishment and implementation of standards and best practices in the product and quality assurance field.
- Support the implementation of the configuration management system on D-Orbit projects.
- Support non-conformances management in cooperation with the program PA Manager.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in space product assurance activities.
- Experience on PA&S topics within Space projects.
- Experience working with Space institutional customers.
- Experience working within a quality assurance environment.
- Experience in the assigned technical domain.
- Experience with Space Quality Standards (and Space Standards in general), their implementation, and of the space industry in general.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks to comply with deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Capability of working in autonomy as well as in team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team setting to meet tight schedules.
- Bachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as electronic, aerospace, or mechanical/materials engineering.
- Experience with EN9100 standard.
- Experience working with requirements management tools.
- Knowledge of any topics within configuration management, quality auditing, or certification.
- Experience with Space institutional customers.
Full professional proficiency of English language is mandatory, any other language is a plus, Italian is an asset.
