Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Prysmian Group. This role involves working closely with the Global Infrastructure & Operation Manager within the IT department. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to oversee intricate infrastructures, including Data Centers, Public Cloud environments, and Virtual Farms, along with a solid background in project management related to diverse IT architectures.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Conduct thorough analysis, assessment, and implementation of the organization's cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure Team and external vendors throughout all stages of cloud deployment and maintenance.
  • Establish Cloud Architecture and Ecosystem frameworks.
  • Select appropriate Cloud Management Platforms.
  • Foster a Cloud-centric culture within the organization, demonstrating the advantages of cloud computing.
  • Identify innovative cloud solutions or features that can benefit the business.
  • Work with various teams to manage application interdependencies effectively.
  • Ensure the stability and timely updates of Cloud platforms.
  • Research the Cloud IT market solutions and integrate traditional infrastructure with emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity within a multinational and complex organizational setting.
  • A Master's degree in Information Technology or related fields.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong public speaking, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in team management and motivation.
  • A collaborative attitude, particularly in large team settings.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
