About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team at Avanade. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in digital transformation and to make a real impact on our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for our clients, including migration, modernization, and optimization of existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Account Teams and Sales/Offering Leads, to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud technologies, including Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
  • Experience with cloud models and concepts, including containerization, event-driven architecture, auto-scaling, multi-tenancy, serverless, and strangler.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and Continuous Delivery/DevOps practices, including Everything as Code and Continuous Everything.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cloud solution design and implementation.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with other teams to deliver solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Linux and OSS technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience with SDLC, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Experience with SRE and software planning.
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including technical and business leaders.
