Job Title: Web Backend Python Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Backend Python Developer to join our team at Planetek Italia SRL. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our web applications using Python and web frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Database Models: You will design and implement database models and manage database systems, preferably using PostgreSQL.
  • Configure and Manage Proxy Servers: You will configure and manage proxy servers like Traefik or Nginx to optimize web application performance and security.
  • Integrate with External APIs: You will integrate with external APIs to enable data exchange and third-party service integration.
  • Implement Caching Strategies: You will implement caching strategies and performance optimizations to enhance the efficiency of the web applications.
  • Implement Security Measures: You will implement security measures and authentication mechanisms to protect the web applications from unauthorized access.
  • Perform Testing and Debugging: You will perform testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of the backend code.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Team: You will collaborate with the frontend team to understand and integrate frontend technologies effectively.
  • Utilize Dependency Management Tools: You will utilize dependency management and packaging tools like Poetry to manage project dependencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: You must have proven experience as a Backend Python Developer.
  • Python and Web Frameworks: You must have in-depth knowledge of Python and web frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.
  • RDBMS and SQL: You must have a strong understanding of RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL, and proficiency in SQL.
  • Proxy Servers and API Integration: You must have familiarity with proxy servers, API integration, caching, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Security and Authentication: You must have sound knowledge of security and authentication best practices in web application development.
  • Testing and Debugging: You must have proficiency in testing and debugging methodologies for ensuring code quality.
  • Frontend Technologies: You must have familiarity with frontend technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend developers.
  • Dependency Management Tools: You must have experience with dependency management and packaging tools like Poetry.
